Torrent/library has 7,880 Books in about 11.4 Gig

There are two main sources of Ebooks on IRC
(Internet/Relay/Chat, the Undernet/#bookz network/channel and IRChighway/#ebooks network/channel). Up until recently
most of the monthly torrents were based ONLY on the train packs from IRChighway.. A few months ago those "train
packs" from IRChighway started coming out later and later (they are about 4 months behind now). On a daily basis
there are HUNDREDS of new books posted on IRC, so we set out to design a system that would capture the daily new stuff
from BOTH networks. Since a lot of people use the free Calibre Library manager, and import the books into it, we devised
a way of releasing it as a working library in a torrent, (with the stuff already imported and ready to go, and embedded
into the epubs). 

in addition we standardized on one single format (epub... already compressed like a zip or
rar), each ebook with covers and metadata embedded.. The result is the "Calibre IRC New Bookz and Ebooks"
Library, Working Calibre Library in a Torrent, They are a bit large, usually about 7,000 Books in about 10 Gig. The name
will start with the current year-month YYYY-mm, and for easy Visualization, Followed by the three character month
abbreviation in all CAPs.

This Library/Torrent is of All new/DAILY Ebooks, posted this month, in both
undernet AND IRChighway <non train packs>. Collected/Cleand/and posted each month 

The books in this
library are complete, Deduped, commonly cleaned/named, have covers, converted to .epub format, metadata Checked/Updated,
are polished, are all in ready to use Calibre Libraries. (if you want or need them in another format, they are easily
converted)

There are a few major changes/tweaks...These are the actual working Calibre libraries used for
cleaning (and will have some CC's and templates in em used for cleaning, but rather than delete em, some find it
instructional to see how it is done, so we left em). While the books are still in AST order <Author/Series/Title>,
there are three changes/Custom Columns used for cleaning, and by popular request, left in.. The series field is broken
up into two separate columns for the Series Name (ES = Extended Series, ES Name) and the Series Index (ES Index) is in
it's own field (and made text instead of a number only <to allow things like Two or III>), and the Author is
FN LN and a CC Named "Sorted Author by LN, FN" is in there too...Those ES CC's are then pushed back into
series, and then the ebooks are "polished" so the internal metadata is updated. The second change/addition is
the addition of the field "Title Part Two"... The title is just the books title (per cover) and any odd/extra
stuff is moved to "Title Part Two" 

We started using a calibre "plug in" named
"Quality Check" that let's us standardize the metadata, and especially initials in names (They are ALL
consistent now.... "X. X. " <X = any letter/Initial>

The Libraries can be used standalone, or
merged with/copied to YOUR Calibre Library, or even imported into your existing non calibre libraries

***IMPORTANT NOTICE***... Since there are a HUGE number of books, most torrent indexers will error out if the original
torrent is used, so we use a trick.. this torrent downloads a second torrent (and autostarts it).. ie this torrent
"Calibre IRC New Bookz and Ebooks 2018-mm - (MMM)" autostarts "Seeding - Calibre IRC New Bookz and Ebooks
2018-mm - (MMM)"... *IF* you save or archive the monthly torrents, make sure you save/archive the "Seeding
-" one (not just the "index" one) 

To help organize, an extra file (catalog) of the contents
of that library, is in a .CSV format (Catalog.csv in the main directory). This is a smart csv format (first line has
field/column names, and imports easily into spreadsheet progs like excel/open office/libre office etc, with column
names/field names)
 
The Calibre Files/Folders are arranged by author, with subfolders for each book under it
with the actual ebook file, and cover, and can be used with most other file/library managers...
Note that all the
epubs are polished/metadata embedded, so the epubs can be "ripped"/flattened to use with other library
managers.

If you already have or use calibre, just open it as an existing library.

If
you don't have Calibre or have no desire to try it, each epub has the cover and metadata inside it, and can be used
with any other file or library manager. 

if you use Calibre, the following Standard Columns/Fields are also
available

Tags, Last Modified Date, Date, Size, Rating, Publisher, Published, Languages

We have
actually been making/seeding these torrents for 7 months now, but for the first few months they had a different name...
they are ALL seeding and can be accessed by their Mag Links (DHT code, worldwide, no indexer or tracker needed, and not

How to use em? very simple... For Those of you new to Magnet Links, they

Heres how (3 simple steps)

Highlight the
whole text thing after "<<<-Mag Link >>> " <starting at magnet:?xt> and going to the

Last Minute Notes

For every torrent, there is a
machine readable file with all the Major info (Author Series Title in both the new ES Series Name and ES Index form and
the old Series [index] forms) in CSV format that can be read by a variety of programs named "Catalog.csv"...
this is in Smart CSV format, (ie line 1 has the field names/column order)

A new CC was added to keep track of
the origin "Original Source" was added.. used for technical purposes only.

For those that wonder
about the 3 to 4 month old stuff in the train packs, those are still available on IRChighway/#ebooks
