All scanned issues. 



One thousand three hundred twenty-eight glorious comics!



This the classic Golden Age series by Dell. There were two series. For some reason the word series is usually preferred
for this comic as opposed to volume. The first had 25 issues. Of these 12 are scanned and included here. The second
series had 1322 issues from the 40's to the 60's, with characters from animation, TV, movies, history, literature,
Disney, Warner Brothers, Ellery Queen, Bonanza, Twilight Zone, Sherlock Holmes & so much more. Something for just about
everyone.



I have never seen many of these in torrents at and none at all in a new torrent in quite a while, I have never anything
nearly as complete a this . I don't know how long this will be seeded, and I will be unable to reseed -  so get it
now!

  

The numbering goes from 1 to 1354 but 32 numbers were skipped. I have not read a good explanation of why they did that.
One issue 1329, is a bit uncertain. Dell published "Gyro Gearloose 01-329-207" Some claim it as 1329 of this series, and
I include it as such. Others simply take it as a bizarrely numbered one shot, and list 1329 among the skipped numbers
making 33 of those.



I have inserted a zero byte file "Four Color Comics ####-No such issue.notice" for each skipped number. Issues not known
to be scanned are represented by a cover image e.g. in series two "Four Color Comics 0005-Raggedy Ann and Andy
(Missing).jpg". There are only 6 such. For Series one there is just a zero byte file such as "Four Color Comics s1 014
(Missing).placeholder"





Where's the DC????

I decided to take a break from the DC project (just this torrent I promise). This is a project I've wanted to do for a
long time. I took a breakbecause I live in  mortal fear I will skip an
important non-DC title by not knowing it should be included. So with this and the upcoming "Super" (man, girl boy, etc)
titles which are safe because all the "super" characters are DC creations, I have time to research a proper list of
titles. Also my friend DieSmurfDie who has been so helpful at finding comics I'm missing has asked if pretty please, I
might tell him my needs sooner than two minutes before I upload the torrent. :-)
Gee what an ingrate. Here I graciously let him participate in my grand project and he whines I'm disorganized, poorly
prepared, etc. Just because it's true is is no excuse :-) Seriously much thanks to DSD. I'm proud to say I managed this
project on my own, though!
