Much of this is the Pink Fairies in their
absolute prime. The versions of Do It, Tomorrow Never Knows, Portobello Shuffle, are simply wonderful. The sound quality
varies but are the best I have found - if anyone has, or comes across, better quality versions please let me know!

Tracks 3 and 4 have been released, but their release was on what amount to bootlegs - done without the
permission of the band by their ex-drummer. I include them for historical (and musical) reasons, and they have never
been widely available, they have appeared on obscure CDs put out in Italy to avoid copyright and royalties - bootlegs,
essentially, and considered as such by all other members of the group. I have discussed this issue with all the members
of the band except the one who released them and they are in agreement.

Track 08 was released by me - with
permission, even gratitude, from the band in a limited release of a private-subscribers CD, the only person likely to
object to this upload would be me, and obviously I don't. Tracks 08-10 are from the short lived Mick Wayne line-up,
and frankly the final two are unlistenable, and are only included here for the sake of completion.

There are
other radio sessions by the band that have seen wide release, notably the top gear session including Lucille and The
Snake, and an In Concert show featuring Johnny B Goode and Uncle Harry’s Last Freakout. Naturally these are not
included here. Another session with the Larry Wallis line-up had to be aborted when the band were banned from the
studios and told never to return. A further session was planned on the ‘Freakzone’ radio show when the band
were intending to play a reformation show at the Roundhouse in 2007 but both projects were abandoned.

And now
they are back.
