  Now my personal Advice!
  
  I tested this on my Windows 8.1 Installation and it works
without a problem. Previous versions have caused Lag and possible locked icons on the desktop with windows 8.1. It's
assumed this should be friendly towards older versions of windows.
  
  
  1. Install the program.
 
MAKE SURE FENCES IS NOT RUNNING BEFORE APPLYING PATCH!!!
  DOUBLE CHECK THAT EVEN THROUGH TASK MANAGER!
  2.
Copy the contents of "Crack + Patch" folder to where Fences is installed e.g
  C:Program Files
(x86)StardockFences.
  3. After that run the patch and click Patch button
  
  
  This was not done
by me, I located this on the Internet and brought it here to share with everyone. There is a read me file with the same
instructions in the download. Follow directions or you shall fail. :wink:
  
  Note: the patch states for an
older version of stardock fences but it does work. And in my case, I needed to restart my computer after installing
fences before trying to use the patch. (This may have been due to me having an older version of fences previously
installed
