Stitchers (2015) Season 1 Episode 01: A Stitch in Time
Dutch
Stitchers gaat over een meisje genaamd Kirsten. Zij wordt aangenomen bij
een geheim agentschap, waar haar brein wordt verbonden aan dat van een dode
om een misdaad op te lossen. Wanneer iemand is vermoord, wordt het lichaam
van die persoon naar hun laboratorium gebracht. Hier stapt Kirsten dan
eigenlijk in de gedachten van deze persoon, zodat ze gesprekken en
herinneringen van de dode te weten komt. Zo kan Kirsten erachter komen wie
de moordenaar is. Dit gegeven wordt 'stitching' genoemd en is nog volop in
de ontwikkeling. Hier zitten jammer genoeg ook risico's aan verbonden;
wanneer het brein van de dode op 'instorten' staat, kan het zijn dat Kirsten
in een coma terecht komt.

Stitchers follows Kirsten, a young woman recruited into a covert government
agency to be 'stitched' into the minds of the recently deceased, using their
memories to investigate murders and decipher mysteries that otherwise would
have gone to the grave. Working alongside Kirsten is Cameron, a brilliant
neuroscientist whose passion for the program is evident in his work. The
secret program is headed by Maggie, a skilled veteran of covert operations,
and includes Linus, a socially immature bioelectrical engineer and
communications technician. Kirsten's roommate, Camille, a gifted computer
science grad student, is also recruited to use her skills to assist Kirsten
in her new role as a 'stitcher.'
