  In the 7th episode of the best Robin Hood TV show or movie ever made, the Sheriff of
Nottingham bets Sir Richard of the Lea that two of his men can beat any two archers Sir Richard cares to pit against
them. Robin Hood and Little John accept the challenge. Marion and Friar Tuck, Sir Richard's lady wife and Sir Richard's
jongleur also appear.
  
  This show was the best because it stayed true to the Robin Hood legend and didn't
introduce anachronistic King Arthur elements, foreign Celtic lore, play it for laughs, or go all "grim and gritty".
  
  Each 45-minute episode began with a splash of Robin shooting an arrow, followed by a rhymed couplet sung to
the tune of "Early One Morning". Tne ending credits were accompanied by the first verse and chorus of the theme song.
I've included two versions of the theme song; the version actually used in the show, and a "complete" version as sung by
someone to a studio full of kids, just for completeness' sake.
  
  There are up to three files for each
episode. The ones marked "Golden" are from a compilation of all four seasons done by a company called Golden DVD. The
ones marked "Mill Creek" are from the complete first season released by Mill Creek Entertainment; these are later, and
generally better, than the Golden episodes. I've also included some Season 1 episodes I found on Demonoid way back when,
maybe 10 years ago. You can download as much or as little of all this as you wish, of course.
  
  After
