Synopsis: The Texas Rangers send Dave and Chito
into the badlands to see if they can locate a counterfeiting operation. They arrive posing as wanted outlaws and this
gets them into the gang. But as soon as they uncover the operation and locate the printing press, one of Chito's girl
friends arrives to expose their identity and they find themselves trapped by the entire gang. (imdb.com)

Personal Notes: Robert Livingston (aka Stony Brooke from The Three Mesquiteers) is very effective, and quite handsome,
as the black hat Durkin. However, it's his boss Cash Carlton (Leonard Penn) who steals the show as the ruthless conman
and cold-blooded killer. With an interesting twist Harry Woods, one of Hollywood's all-time meanest villains, plays the
white hat blacksmith/Secret Service Agent. An amusing fact concerning Mr. Woods from imdb.com, "although his imposing
size, perpetual scowl, snarling voice and all-around evil demeanor made him one of the meanest of screen villains,
before he became an actor Woods made a living selling ladies' hats." 

This film is slightly darker, the plot
tightly woven around the action. For the first time viewer, this should keep you on the edge of your seat as you wonder
how Tim and Chito are going to get out of this one. You'll be surprised with who, or should I say what, saves the day.

Additional note on the audio, (and this is a problem I've had with other recordings off this channel),
the audio sporadically drops off for a split-second. Nothing to distract from the viewing enjoyment, but something I did
want to mention.
